SYNOPSIS - THIRD DRAFT
A young man gets up from watching TV after it changes to advertisements. He goes into the kitchen to warm up a sausage roll, ignoring his ringing phone on the counter. Once his roll is ready, he takes it out of the microwave and puts it on a plate. His phone rings again, and he finally answers. He listens for a moment before falling to his knees before crawling into a corner to sit with his knees to his chin.
The man the has a series of flashbacks to past events of his life. The first involves him having a heated argument with his mother as he storms out of the door. He then remembers standing around with a group of rough-looking people, looking obviously uncomfortable as he laughs with the crowd. Finally, he recollects sitting on a park bench, having his phone ring, looking at who is calling, and ultimately denying it.
He then imagines his mother's deathbed as if he is remembering it. He pulls himself out of his mind weeping, picks up his food and returns to his living room. He sits down and thinks for a bit. The man then rushes to the door before stopping before the handle. He thinks again and returns to the other room so he can continue watching television.
