RADIAL ANALYSIS - FILM POSTER
COGITO ERGO SUM

The title of the film is large and bold, and also we chose white text colour as it stands out against the background of the movie. It doesn't take too much attention away from the main image as it is not an elaborate font or too colourful. Due to the fact it stands out, it is easy for passers-by to make out the name of the film from a distance if this poster was seen on the side of a bus or on a billboard etc.
By putting our main character on the front of the poster as the main focal point, it allows audiences and viewers to determine who the main character is without knowing anything about the film itself. We stuck to popular conventions of a social realism genre as it is common for not only the protagonist to be the main focal point of the image, but also for it to be large.
By adding a slogan "meet the thinking man" it finishes off the overall look of the poster. Also, by making it short and sweet, it is easy to remember and also has relevance to the story.
By crediting the cast and crew below the title of the film, it is possible for audiences to see exactly who worked on the film. This is helpful because if they were to see a familiar name on there, it may affect their decision about whether or not to watch the film. We did not put much text in here as we felt it would be a lot clearer if it was short and sweet, much like the tagline.
